The otters did pass the AFLRC Committee but did not pass the ARBA Committee. I will leave this page up and add the current otters so the progress in the color can be seen. The COD now passes to Charlene Everett. Lets all get behind her in her efforts and get the job done. It sure wasn't as easy as I thought in the beginning but worth the journey. I have learned many thing that will help in the future of my breeding programs. Thanks to all who have supported me.
Bluehills Smoke Blue Otter
Blue Hills Smoke was part of the presentation in 2008 at Kentucky. His son Star and daughter Celeste were also part of that program. Today only Celeste remains, but Smoke's influence is very present in the 2009 program thru her.
Blue Hills Smoke
Here is a picture of Blue Hills Smoke as a baby. Notice how much his offspring look like him. He will be offered for sale at Convention pass or fair presentation. He is being replace by his son Blue Hills Star in 2009's program.
Blue Hills Star
Blue Hills DaBuDee
DaBuDee is a Hip Hop Queens daughter and one of the foundation does in the current otter program. She is out of Queen and Blue Hills Sylvester. Her brother, Sly Dawg a broken blue otter buck was very important in the program.
Blue Hills Kylar Blue otter Buck
Blue Hills Kenny Broken Black otter
Some of the broken otters in my program
Blue Hills Sly Dawg, broken blue otter one of 2007's top sires. He produced one of my top does and some of the top babies I sold in 2007. He is out of Blue Hills Sylvester, Broken Opal and Hip Hop's Queen. Queen is one of the foundation animals of my otter program. This is a junior picture of him he developed a much larger head as he matured and has passed that down to his sons and daughters.
Blue Hills Sylvester, Broken Opal
Sly as he was know by was the foundation buck of most of the current otter program. He was out of a lynx buck from Tom and Muriel Keyes and a broken blue otter doe of my own breeding. He had a impressive show record and many of my current showable fuzzies are grand children and greatgrand children. Now in 2009 his influence is still apparent in my barn.
