Video: Grooming the Otters
Updated August 9, 2011
It has been such a long time since I have been able to work on my website and many things have changed in my life including but not limited to my address. I'm still around New Auburn but not at my old address. My rabbits and I now live with my youngest son Matt on his eleven acre place. The bunnies have a new home in a vintage stone barn or shop as I think that is what this building was used for in the past. It still needs some minor repairs before winter but the Blue Hills bunnies spent last winter here and did just fine. Now I am going to concentrate on updating the bunnies I have for sale and building the holland page. Keep checking on the progress here. Will truley be adding my crafts this time also.
BLUE HILLS RABBITRY --- INTRODUCTION
I have been raising rabbits since 1974. I moved to my current address in 2001. Summer 2009, I got a new bunny barn. Hopefully the addition of heat for the winter of 2010 will make a big difference in the raising of litters. The barn is smaller than my original building but very nice for the plans I have for the future of the Blue Hills Rabbitry. I'm back to a smaller size in number of rabbits and breeds. I'm also back to one of the first breeds I had, Netherland Dwarfs.
In addition to my favorite breed the American Fuzzy Lop I have raised Satins, French Angoras, English Angoras,English Lops, Velveteens Lops, Holland Lops, Lionheads, Astrex, Cavies and Netherland Dwarfs. I'm looking forward to the ARBA Convention in Minneapolis MN and the new direction of my rabbitry in 2010.
